Green Street... for Sale!

Well, ladies and gentlemen, it looks like I lost the bet! As you may remember, I placed a bet that Green Street would go on the market at the end of July; good thing I wagered no money.

Many of you may be thinking, "Finally! A blog post on Green St.! I was wondering if they still had the house?!" Truth is, despite the countless hours Dustin and his dad have put into this house, the most recent changes, though significant, simply aren't significant enough to substantiate an entire blog post! Also, I thought it would be more fun to allow some time to pass as those never ending details culminated so that the final blog post could gain some more "wow" factor. (Let me know if it worked.)

I suppose the easiest way to show you the final details are before and afters. So, here you go...

When you walk in the front door, you enter the main floor. It has a great open space concept and look straight back to the kitchen. I'm still disappointed that I didn't get a true before shot, but the kitchen was ripped out immediately after closing!

This view is looking to the front of the house from the kitchen.

The stairway.

The view from the top of the stairway used to look at wasted space. Now your view is a beautiful new bathroom and hallway.

The back bedroom.

What an improvement!

The front bedroom.

Looking out of the front bedroom offered another spectacular view of the wasted blue space. Now, a useful hallway takes its place.

The third floor was such an improvement; it was a completely unusable space. Now, it has endless possibilities from work space, play space or even another bedroom.

The basement didn't offer a tremendous amount of room for improvement, but Dustin and his dad still found a way. They added a washer, dryer, sink, toilet and really spruced up the space.

Curb appeal is so important. I think Dustin and his dad nailed it.

There you have it. The full tour! It's been a busy 5 months. Dustin and his dad put ALL of their time into this place and received amazing results in return. Each project, they get better and better. To celebrate the finished project, we are off to Niagra Falls for a couple days. I'll leave you with a slide show of ALL the pictures I took throughout the flip. Enjoy!

(Oh and wish us luck on a short listing... we want this place sold!)
